The new free version of Camera ZOOM FX still boasts some useful tools beyond the stock Android camera. You get tap to focus as well as tap to shoot, time lapse shooting modes, a built-in editing tool to crop, rotate, and resize photos, control over white balance, ISO levels, and more, a custom photo gallery, the option to save your photos in specific folders, and some fun photo frames and filters to personalize your shots.
If you buy the premium version, you get the whole laundry list of features we've come to love in the app, including burst shooting mode (up to 30 shots/second), a stable shooting mode that shows you an indicator when you're steady enough for a clear picture, a shot timer, voice activated shooting, tilt shift shooting, the option to set any hardware button to take a photo, on-screen grids (golden ratio, grid, etc) to help you compose your shot, silent shooting modes, and more. The premium version retains the original's pricing too: $3.
If you've already purchased Camera ZOOM FX, no worries—you essentially already have the premium version, and you'll get those updates accordingly. The free version is still a richly featured camera, but it definitely serves as a gateway to the full version of the app. You can grab the free version now at the app below, and the premium version for $3 (You can get it half off for $1.49 via in-app purchase through the free version.)
